A CRITIQUE OF REASON
We have already made several references to the transformative power of ideas. For those familiar with the spirit of philosophical Daoism this might seem heterodoxical to the extreme. Does not Daoism teach that the cognitive mind in its use of language of necessity separates us from what it objectifies? Are we not called upon to nurture a more immediate and organic experience of ourselves and our world-context? It does and we are. But then these, too, are ideas.
